Prateek Vasireddy

Prateek is a software engineer who has worked on diverse projects across healthcare, fintech, non-profit and edtech industries. In covering all angles of full-stack web development at Beezwax, he cites the dual benefits of continuing his career commitment to helping client organizations, while continuing to hone his technical craft.

While studying law, Prateek was first exposed to programming during a clinic that worked with school districts and funding organizations in K-12 education. He got his professional start in the tech industry writing Ruby on Rails and Laravel code to develop solutions for childhood cancer aid organizations, before spending a few years in the startup world. Since then he's handled many large projects, building experience with web and mobile applications, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering pipelines.

Outside of work, Prateek enjoys hiking the SoCal area, trying out portable and VR games, and doing "remote tourism" by maintaining the (human) languages he has been exposed to.
