Patty Furukawa

Patty thrives working in roles that combine technical project development with business management, taking advantage of her skills, experience and training. "Working at Beezwax gives me the opportunity to engage with amazing clients and work to deliver impactful projects that meet their needs."

Prior to Beezwax, Patty was the Technical Producer at 5D Global Studios. Working under the direction of Alex McDowell (Minority Report, Fight Club), the team developed mixed reality projects for various clients, including Sundance New Frontier. Before 5D, she was the Business Process Lead at Venly, designing new processes and improving existing ones in the HR, Sales and Business Partnership departments.

Hailing from México City, Patty earned an undergraduate degree in Computer Science. Patty moved to Boston, MA to complete her Master’s degree in Media and Communications.

In her spare time Patty enjoys hiking, biking and cooking with her family, as well as traveling and photography.
