Kevin Yosifov
Jr. FileMaker Developer
As a FileMaker Developer at Beezwax, Kevin collaborates with development teams and clients to implement elegant solutions for complex problems. His favorite aspect of working at Beezwax is constantly working on new, interesting, and far-reaching tasks.
Kevin started with FileMaker through Beezwax's apprenticeship program, and particularly enjoys learning from experienced developers about different ways to approach problems. And, better yet, with his background in programming, he's often one to discover innovative solutions himself.
Kevin owns a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He started coding in high school where his first independent project was to bring his and his friend’s game idea to life by programming a twisted web version of Monopoly. In college, he expanded his experience with backend development, leveraging React and Express.js for a bus-tracking project, Slugloop, as part of a student led-group at UCSC. During Covid, Kevin also worked as a Zoom consultant, helping teachers with their transition into remote teaching as well as resolving any technical issues that arose.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys hanging out with friends while video gaming or playing board games (Favorite game: Outcore - check it out, it's free!). He enjoys swimming and tennis, and is always ready to try something new.
