Darren Burgess
Development Services Manager
Darren applies his passion for transformative change to his work with databases and web development. His primary motivation comes from a desire to create harmonious and efficient work environments (and happier human beings) by integrating design, development and communications skills.
Darren brings more than 25 years of experience with FileMaker, web technologies and project management to each client he works with, as part of the Beezwax team. Like many Beez, he comes from an unusual background – in this case he worked for 15 years as an admissions director, in-house FileMaker developer, and licensed massage therapist at one of the premier massage therapy training institutes in the country. His experience transforming the school business with database automation led to consulting clients in education and business fields, and to the Beezwax team in 2014.
Darren is a FileMaker Certified Developer.
In his time outside work, Darren works and plays hard, traveling and spending time with his family, contra-dancing, playing jazz guitar, and maintaining organic gardens.
