Aigerim Begaliyeva
Program Manager
Aigerim Begaliyeva, MBA, is a Beezwax program manager with hands-on experience across a variety of industries. She supports a portfolio of enterprise client programs. Using her keen attention to detail and a strong ability to maintain budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships, Aigerim ensures the success of software development and business consulting projects.
Aigerim’s management career began in 2005 when she was invited to lead a project with burning deadlines that called for her unique skill set and capacity. Since then, she has managed development outreach and communications for multi-million dollar projects across multiple countries. Her efforts have initiated life-changing programs and organized events that reached thousands of people. Aigerim received one of the US State Department’s highest awards for her work in planning, budgeting, and building teams to implement a 525 km-long ultramarathon with Dean Karnazes across the Silk Road.
An advocate for #womenintech, Aigerim devotes her free time to building communities and coordinating an initiative, backed by the President of Kazakhstan, that empowers women and girls to pursue careers in tech and STEM fields. Outside of her work and advocacy, Aigerim enjoys hiking and skyrunning at elevations above 6,600ft with her Siberian Husky, Lora. Aigerim also does open water swimming even if she is terrified of the jellyfish and sharks that 'do not eat humans.'
